Acceptable Use Policy
Content standards, voice consent, prohibited categories, reporting, moderation and appeals.

Scope and permitted use
This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) forms part of the Terms of Service for Producer Tag AI. It covers prompts, tag phrases, lyrics, names, uploaded and recorded samples, verification recordings, generated audio and how you distribute or use results. The same rules apply to free and paid features.
You may create original producer tags, authorised music branding, podcast intros and similar lawful audio. You must have permission for every recording, voice, name, lyric, sample and trademark you use. A public recording, online clip or celebrity interview is not permission to clone its speaker. You must not bypass provider restrictions, verification, rate limits or safety controls.
Six prohibited content categories
1. Sexual content / NSFW
Do not create, request or distribute pornography, sexually explicit performances, sexual NSFW audio, sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual material. This includes sexualised cloned voices and content designed to humiliate or harass a person sexually.
2. Violence / gore
Do not create graphic depictions or audio simulations of extreme violence, torture or gore; credible threats; encouragement or instructions for violent harm; or terrorist recruitment or propaganda. A non-graphic musical genre description such as “dark trap” is not, by itself, a violent-content request.
3. Hate speech
Do not promote hatred, dehumanisation, discrimination or violence against people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability. Using a synthetic voice does not make targeted abuse acceptable.
4. Child safety / CSAM
Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), sexualisation of minors, grooming, exploitation and content that endangers children are strictly prohibited, including fictional or AI-generated material. Never use a child's voice for sexual or exploitative content. Do not upload, reproduce or forward suspected CSAM as evidence in a report.
5. Deepfakes / impersonation
Do not clone a voice without the speaker's informed, explicit permission; fake another person's identity, endorsement or statements; create deceptive deepfakes; evade voice authentication; or facilitate scams, fraud, harassment or misleading public communications. Consent must cover the sample processing, voice creation and intended output use. Do not pass synthetic audio off as an authentic recording where that would deceive listeners.
The voice tool requires consent and a separate verification sample. These checks do not replace your obligation to hold rights, do not establish legal identity, and are not permission to imitate an unrelated person. Keep evidence of permission; we may request it when reviewing a report.
6. Copyright / trademark infringement
Do not use unlicensed recordings, lyrics, music samples, protected branding or other third-party material in a way that infringes rights. Do not create tags falsely implying sponsorship or association with a producer, artist or brand. Buying credits or successfully generating audio does not clear copyright, trademark, personality or publicity rights.
How to report a problem
Email support@producertag.org with the subject “Content report”. A login is not required. Signed-in users can also create a support ticket. Use the same channels to report unauthorised voice cloning, child-safety concerns, infringement or an unsafe generated result.
Include:
- The page or public URL, task ID or other reference that helps us locate the issue.
- Which rule may be violated and a concise, non-graphic description.
- Your contact email and, for a rights complaint, the right or work involved and your authority to report it.
- Relevant permission or ownership evidence when needed, with unrelated personal details removed.
Do not send passwords, complete payment details, illegal files or unnecessary private recordings. For suspected CSAM, report the location and context without downloading or attaching the material. If someone faces immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency service; this mailbox is not an emergency-response service.
Content moderation and enforcement
Our current controls include account-access checks, request limits, and the voice-consent and verification workflow. Upstream providers may apply their own restrictions. We do not claim that every prompt or output is automatically screened for all prohibited categories, or that every generation is reviewed by a person before delivery.
Our report-review process is:
- Review the report and prioritise urgent child-safety, impersonation, threat or fraud concerns.
- Examine available task, account and payment records relevant to the concern; request clarification or proof of rights where needed. Browser-only audio may not be available to us.
- Where warranted, restrict a request or feature, disable a voice's use, remove access to content under our control, warn or suspend an account, or coordinate with the relevant provider. We may preserve necessary evidence or notify authorities when legally required. We cannot remotely erase a file already downloaded to someone else's device.
- Where lawful and practicable, notify the affected user of the decision and reason without disclosing another person's unnecessary private information. Urgent risks may require action before notice.
Repeat or serious violations may result in permanent loss of access. Financial adjustments follow the Refund Policy and applicable law; enforcement is not a blanket waiver of statutory rights.
Appeals
Reply to the decision email or ticket, or email support@producertag.org with the subject “Content appeal”. Identify the account or task, explain why you believe the decision is mistaken, and provide relevant permission evidence. We review the information and communicate the outcome where legally permitted. Do not evade a restriction by creating another account while an appeal is pending.
