Privacy Policy

How we process account data, prompts, voice samples, payments and browser-local audio.

Last updated: 2026-09-25

Introduction

This policy explains how Producer Tag AI handles your information when you use our audio tools and account services. Privacy requests can be sent to support@producertag.org without signing in.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our service:

  1. Account Information — Your name, email address, and other details you provide when creating an account.
  2. Usage Data — Information about how you interact with the service, including features accessed, frequency of use, and interaction patterns.
  3. Device Information — Device type, operating system, and browser type, used to optimize compatibility and performance.
  4. Cookies — Small data files stored on your device to remember preferences and improve your experience.
  5. Payment Information — Billing details handled by trusted third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  6. Audio and generation data — Phrases, prompts, selected voices, styles, submitted voice samples and verification recordings needed to fulfil requests. Paid task records can include prompts, voice names, provider task/voice IDs, result references, status, timestamps and consent confirmation.
  7. Support and safety records — Information you provide in tickets, refund applications, content reports or permission evidence. Send only the information needed for the request.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the service.
  • Process transactions and send related confirmations.
  • Send technical notices, security alerts, and support messages.
  • Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud and abuse.

Depending on applicable law, these purposes rely on fulfilling your requested service, legal obligations such as financial recordkeeping, legitimate operational and security interests, or consent where required. Voice submission requires permission for that recording and its intended use. Do not submit another person's voice without informed, explicit authorisation.

AI Providers and Voice Processing

  • Microsoft: standard and female-voice spoken tags send the phrase and selected voice identifier to Microsoft Edge Read Aloud Neural TTS.
  • Kie.ai and its upstream audio services: music tags send the music prompt and phrase for Suno Sounds and ElevenLabs Multilingual v2 processing. Voice cloning uploads your submitted sample and separate verification recording to Kie.ai's file infrastructure, uses Suno Voice to create a profile, and sends the phrase, style and voice ID for Suno V6 generation.
  • Cloudflare: hosts the application and production database and processes network and operational data needed to serve and protect the website. Other enabled account services, such as sign-in and transactional email, process the information needed for their functions.
  • Payment providers: the provider identified at checkout or on your receipt handles billing data. For Waffo Pancake merchant-of-record purchases, Waffo handles payment, tax, fraud, receipts and payment-related refunds under its own privacy terms. Earlier payments may have used another provider.

The AI Models & Processing page lists exact model identifiers and request versions. We do not train our own audio models in these workflows. That is not a promise that every upstream provider has a no-retention or no-training policy. Their retention, use and data-location practices are not controlled by a browser “delete” action. Do not submit confidential or sensitive recordings if those practices do not meet your requirements; ask support first.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these limited cases:

  • With the infrastructure, AI, payment, email and account providers needed to operate the requested service, subject to their applicable terms and legal roles.
  • To comply with legal obligations or respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
  • To protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our users.

Providers may process information outside your country. Applicable legal safeguards and rights depend on the processing and jurisdiction; we do not promise that all data remains in one country. For payment-provider details, see the policy presented at checkout, including Waffo's privacy policy when it handles your transaction.

Storage, Retention and Deletion

The audio library uses browser storage on your device. Its current implementation keeps up to 20 recent items and removes older or excess items when the library is read or written, using a 30-day age limit. This is not a guaranteed automatic deletion exactly 30 days after creation, nor a cloud-backup promise. Clearing browser site data or using an available library-clear control removes local copies, not files already downloaded elsewhere or records held by providers.

Account-linked voice profiles and paid task records are stored separately. Removing a voice from your list disables its normal use through your account but is currently a soft deletion of our profile record; it does not by itself erase provider-held samples or models, task records or downloaded tags. For a broader deletion or consent-withdrawal request, email support with the account email and relevant voice/task ID. We review what can be deleted and coordinate with the provider where necessary, explaining any legal, security, billing or technical limits.

We keep account, order, credit, task and support records as needed for the service, disputes, fraud prevention and applicable legal duties. Retention differs by data type; no single automatic deletion deadline is promised for all server or provider records. Necessary legal or dispute records may remain after account closure. Avoid sending unnecessary recordings with a deletion request.

Cookies and Local Controls

Essential cookies support sign-in, language preferences and free-usage limits. The free-tag quota uses a device identifier and hashed device, IP-bucket and account identifiers to enforce access limits; hashes are not a promise of anonymity. Optional analytics depend on the site's enabled configuration and consent controls. Use “Cookie Settings” in the footer to review or change your analytics choice. Browser storage also remembers local audio and interface settings.

Data Security

We use HTTPS and access controls for account-protected data, and restrict access to voice tasks to their owning account. No internet service or third-party processor can guarantee complete security. Treat audio download links and your sign-in credentials as sensitive, and report suspected unauthorised access to support.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, obtain a copy of, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Use available profile controls for basic updates; other requests can be sent to support@producertag.org. We may verify that the request concerns your account. We do not claim that every request has a self-service account button. Withdrawing permission for voice processing may prevent further use of that voice and does not automatically erase legally required records.

For child-safety, unauthorised cloning or infringement concerns, use the reporting process in our Acceptable Use Policy. Do not include illegal material in a report.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, sending a notice through the service.
